  • Adam Plotkin

    Adam Plotkin

    Adam Plotkin is a Partner at ff Venture Capital. A life-long technology early adopter and enthusiast, Adam spent several years prior to joining ff Venture Capital in business development, advisory and operational roles with a number of startups in New York and Los Angeles.

    Previously, Adam was the first hire at Lake Baldwin Management, a Princeton, New Jersey opportunistic hedge fund, where he was a generalist investor, managing an array of public and private market investments. Adam began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Leveraged Finance Group, where he devoted a substantial portion of his time advising clients in the telecom and insurance industries, and in the Risk Markets Group, where he was involved in the design, structure and marketing of two of the early catastrophe risk-linked bonds.

    Adam holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School. He also holds Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Applied Sciences, and Bachelor of Science in Economics degrees, cum laude with distinction from the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and the Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania, as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and a Joseph Wharton Scholar. He grew up in New Jersey, where he operated a Commodore-64 based BBS before Middle School.

    McKeever Conwell

    Mckeever E. Conwell, II, aka Mac, is a Baltimore native who attended Morgan State University, where he majored in Computer Science. In October 2009 Mac, along with 2 friends from college, decided to start his first tech startup, Given.to. The Given.to team went through two accelerators, Accelerate Baltimore followed by NewMe Accelerator, where Mac was later named entrepreneur in residence. After working hard to make Given.to a great product, Given shut down in 2014 after 4 years. With that failure Mac learned a lot and was lead to start his latest venture, RedBerry, which was recently accepted into Philadelphia's Dreamt Ventures. Mac has been a guest on Huffington Post live several times and his companies have been featured in several media outlets such as USA Today, Washington Post, BET, CNN Headline News, Black Enterprise and many more.

    Rija Beares is a Senior Associate in CBRE’s Occupier Brokerage division and leads CBRE’s Technology and Media Practice in the Greater Philadelphia region. Rija is a real estate advisor whose practice focuses on advising technology, media and hi-tech manufacturing businesses throughout every stage of their lifecycle.

    Rija goes beyond finding cool and creative spaces for her clients - She delivers tailored, cost effective real estate solutions by focusing on her clients’ broader strategic initiatives surrounding growth, funding, employee recruitment and culture.

  • Anita Andrews

    Anita Andrews

    Anita Garimella Andrews is VP, Customer Success at RJMetrics. RJMetrics is a leading SaaS cloud-based analytics platform whose customers are primarily mid-sized ecommerce and SaaS businesses.

    Anita’s expertise includes data & analytics, B-to-B and B-to-C platforms, e-commerce, social gaming and viral metrics optimization, product management, online marketing, and social networks. She was Founder & CEO of Sepiida, an analytics and Internet marketing optimization company, whose clients included Zynga Games Network, Haymarket Media, and Coveroo. Sepiida was acquired by Delphic Digital in 2012. Prior to Sepiida, she ran Ecommerce at Nutrisystem, a $750 million subscription ecommerce business, and has held a variety of product and marketing roles at successful start-ups in Silicon Valley.

    Anita holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. She earned her B.A. from New York University majoring in Politics with a minor in Mathematics. She is a founding Trustee of TechGirlz whose mission is to grow the role of women in technology by focusing on middle school-aged girls.

    Anita won the Rising Star Award as a 2011 Woman of Distinction from the Philadelphia Business Journal.
