Light Hacking Weekend

Saturday, April 5
9:00am–5:00pm

This 2-day hack session will explore light and technology. On Saturday we'll play with analog techniques that explore light, drawing and perception. Participants can build portable camera obscura, a periscope, and become a drawing expert using the "Neolucida." On Sunday, we'll use new digital technology to further our exploration. Participants can play with interactive installations using Processing software and the kinect to visualize the motion of our bodies, build their own light sabers, and we'll play light pictionary with long-exposure camera shots.
